Value priced room was comfortable, close to Mackinac shipping sites, very nice staff, and clean. What would earn outstanding rating would have been something unexpected for the time stayed....the stay definitely met expectations, and I will stay here again.

Great and especially clean accomodations at a good affordable rate. Our eight year old daughter had a blast swimming in the free admission water park. We were very impressed with the breakfast buffet. The food was hot and delicious and the service immpeccable. Thanks for a great time!

I've been to this econolodge 3-4 times now. I usually get a fairly good rate and whether I'm staying in the room next to the loby,in the lodge out back or a chalet-- the rooms are clean,it's close to the dock and the amenities are always usefull. Thank you I'll be back!!!! P.S. The managers a great guy!

Nice room, though housekeeping did not refill towels, coffee supplies. Front desk was happy to porvide missing items. Great pools/water park and breakfast bar was one of the best I have ever eaten at!

Wonderful stay for one night! Comfortable, clean, close to the ferry. I wish there were a rating between "good" and "outstanding", because it was just a bit difficult to find our room in the whole complex of hotel buildings there. Directions given by front desk left me confused -- but I'm not good w/ directions! Nice hotel. Courteous. We arrived late the night before, and the front desk unhesitatingly allowed us to extend our check-out time by an hour.

Our room was quiet and most importantly was very clean. My only complaint (if you can call it one) was that we had 4 people and there were only enought towels for 3. We had to ask for more. Also when we went to the pool we only had the towels in the room to use. There were no extras. All the front desk people we had were very nice and accomodating. We decided next time we would try to rent a cabin. We liked the looks of them.

This hotel offered a good room with a good rate. Our room assigned was not ready but we were reassigned with an easier accessible option. We appreciated the pool and breakfast offered. We had an issue with a package offered but it was quickly fixed with minimal effort.

The room was clean and had adequate number of towels and pillows; was greatly appreciated the coffee pot made more than one cup at a time. I thought I was renting a cabin. That was no big deal. We only spent time there to sleep and change clothes. The service was excellent; they were quick to check the cause of the water park not having water. The park was open plenty of hours for us to enjoy walks around town and enjoy the parade and fireworks.

This hotel was under construction, which was running 1 1/2 months behind, so we actually didn't stay at the Econolodge. They were kind enough to offer us a room at the Hamilton Inn which was a GREAT hotel. We had a wonderful vacation and you city had alot of things to do and see. Thank you.

Room was old and small but nice and cute. Waterpark was very nice - great for children. Deck on room was great to store bikes on. Will probably always go back to this hotel as our little boy loved the waterpark and my husband was very happy with the breakfast bar.

Actually, when we went to check in, there was a problem with our room, and the staff sent us to another hotel, the Northpoint Inn. Econolodge paid the difference on our room. We were treated wonderfully, and had a great time.

We have stayed at the EconoLodge 3 or 4 times now. The cost is low and we have enjoyed the indoor water park and pools. The breakfast was great...not just some toast or bagels, but waffles, eggs, meat, fruit cereals, juices coffee and milk. The people in the office went out of their way to be helpful. We will stop here again.

For the price, the Econolodge Bayview was the perfect choice. The room was clean, comfortable, and near enough to the "action" in Mackinaw City without being right in the messy traffic of downtown. Considering how little we paid, the Econolodge was actually a "steal."

It was good for staying in a lodge, over the past several years we have been fortunate to stay in newly built hotels. When shopping on -line your not totally sure what to expect.The rooms were clean and spaciuos. We noticed the Econolodge Bayview has a great set-up for the snowmobile enthusiasts.This was our first visit to Mackinaw City and we were quite impressed and hope to visit again.

While staying at Econologe, I accidently locked my keys in my car. My room key was attached to my key ring. The young man at the desk, not only called someone to unlock my car, but gave me an extra key for my room so I could get in and wait for the locksmith. Upon checking out the next morning, he not only recognized me with a cheerful greeting, but checked on the service and timelieness of getting my car unlocked. I will probably not ever spend a night anywhere else in my future visits to the City.

Excellent water park facility. Good value for the price charged. Real nice breakfast. Only drawback was it was a bit crowded but I suppose that is to be expected. In summary, nice place we will check first with this motel next time we return to the area.

very nice and polite staff, very reasonable prices, good location, the indoor waterpark is a nice attraction when the kids are still energetic but mom and dad want to relax. We have stayed here before and have always enjoyed ourselves. Although the rooms are clean and well kept, they show signs of aging and suffer minor maintenance issues. We were quite pleased at the addition of more waffle irons as that has clogged up the breakfast line in the past. We will almost certainly stay here again, but feel the 70's room decor warrants less than an outstanding rating (although simply saying "good" insinuates we were unhappy, which is certainly not true!). Otherwise, we recommend the Econolodge Bayview to everyone we know when discussing Mackinaw City. Oh, and fix the bell on the dumping pirate head. =o)

We gave an outstanding five-star for the fact that although we was unable to make it up for the night intended, for the reason of my brother Allen's death two days before,the motel was kind enough to allow us to stay another time. And was gracious enough to send us a certificate. Wish really ment a lot to me, it was a devistating day for me as the 28th was our anniversary and that was the morning he passed.So the kindness was greatly appreciated, and we will be sure to always give our recommendation!
