The Super 8 Bridgeview is the only log cabin hotel in Mackinaw City. The Super 8 Bridgeview is conveniently located directly across from 1000 feet of Lake Huron Beach at the base of the Mackinac Bridge. The hotel was clean and comfortable, and the staff was very friendly. I gave it an outstanding rating mostly due to the how professional and accommodating the front desk gentleman was when we checked in! Excellent!

neede a downstairs room & only available was jacuzzi room. got it for a minimal feel saved my 87 year old's legs beautiful city & people were wonderful. it was our 1st visit to northern mi. & we loved it. hotel was great. very different decor. very good breakfast too. hope we can come back but getting on in tears for the drive. thanks again for a great time

This was our second time staying at this hotel. We stayed on our trip to the Upper Penisula and a week later on the way home. The staff remembered us gave us the same room we had during our first stay and welcomed us back. Again, everything was clean and in good condition. The breakfast was good and the overall experience was great.

Rooms were very clean, staff good. Breakfast room hot and not replenished quickly and not the variety of food I had anticipated. Distance to beach good. Would stay again, but would not count on eating breakfast there.

nice hotel, clean, friendly, the only bad thing is it would be nice if you could shut the balconys light off at night so it wont attract all the bugs so you could sit out there.

This Supter 8 filled the bill for us. It was economical, had an indoor pool, and a great location. The room was actually 2 rooms connected and had two bathrooms. That in itself was wonderful. The price was very good for such amenities. However, it was very basic. The bathrooms were clean but out-dated. The rooms were obviously heavily used with worn carpeting and worn bedding. Again, everything was clean but not glitzy. Frankly, for the price we paid, we didn't expect much more. The breakfast was good and filling. We would stay here again because of the pool, the location, and the suite configuration of the room. With a little more updating of the room, I would have rated this as Good.

The location was great, service and staff were excellent. Hotel was clean. Only slight and probably a little trivial, but the only change we would offer would be the breakfast. Seating was tricky - but do able and something warm other than waffles would be great. We have stayed there twice and for the cost it is a really good value!!

Our only complaint was that the bathtub did not drain properly which left a moldy smell in Room 106. Otherwise the location was great, the beds were great and the breakfast was great.

Management actually read the comments in the online reservation. Very personable management....... My wife and I made reservations for the Truck show in September and management saved the same room that we have had in the previous 3 visits. No one has done that before. We switched to the Super 8, due to our pup being able to stay with us. Cleaning staff was great and remembered us from last fall stay........Actually they remembered the pup.

The hotel room was clean and huge. It was important for us to have two separate bedrooms because of the size of our family and the room hit the mark. When the two of us are travelling we will not need somethings s large but the staff was friendly and the breakfast was good and the location and cleanliness were perfect.

Staying at the Super 8 Bridgeview was a pleasant experience. Next time though, I'll call and talk to an actual person when booking. There are many different types of rooms, and I would've rather had a different layout. Otherwise, I'm completely satisfied with the hotel.

The room was spacious, clean, nicely decorated, comfortable beds, spacious bathroom with sink outside (a plus for two people in the same room!), and reasonably priced for Memorial Day weekend. The check in was quick, accurate, friendly, and efficient. We were unable to take advantage of the breakfast because we were running the bridge and breakfast was provided for runners at the rec center (end of the race). My roommate sampled the coffee --- said it was awful (the only reason I don't give it an "outstanding"). I will stay here again.

The site was great and the people at the desk were very helpful and pleasant to work with. Rooms were clean and it was nice to sit on the balcony and enjoy the sunshine. We decided to stay an extra night since it was such a good experience.

We were there for a conference. The accomodations were convenient, check in was easy, I didn't love the breakfast but I'm on a restrictive diet so that's true a lot of places.

For the money I spent on it for a Super 8 I wasn't expecting anything special. The rooms were clean and the staff was friendly. Everything worked fine and the rooms were pretty large as well. I would have no problem staying there again if I was looking for a cheap hotel.

The hotel was clean with reasonable rates. We had great weather the weekend that we stayed. The only compleint isn't with the hotel, but the area surrounding the hotel was heavily infested with bugs. We couldn't even walk across the street to the lake without getting swarmed so badly that we had to retreat!

Very nice hotel. It was clean and what we asked for. Large, comfortable bed with a great location and very competitive price. It was easy to find and had a great location. Only drawbacks were the overly long check-in and check-out process.

We booked with the Super 8 Bridgeview however we stayed at the Hamilton Inn Select Beachfront. Our room was very good and the morning breakfast was excellent. It was a very good stay.

when we got to the hotel they were closed and sent us to hamilton inn. the hamilton was amazing! the people were nice and it wasnt hard to get to. im sure if we did stay at the super 8 it woulod have been just as nice.

Outstanding!!!!!!!!!!!! Actually,,,, we stayed at the Hamilton Inn Select.. The Super 8 was closed for the winter season, I was called by Hamilton Inn Select. The Hamilton Inn Select was wonderfull. I wish we would have more time to stay there and enjoy the ammenities. It was just a stop over for sleeping only on our way to northern Wisconsin... thank you very much.... I can give no rating for the super 8 motel as we were transfered to theHamilton Inn Select as the super 8 was closed for refirbation. We received the same rate at the Hamilton Inn Select and were very satisfied with the service there, and would stop again if in the area.

The room was fantastic...but the bathroom left alot to be desired. It was clean but pretty institutional...and very cold. The shower was weak and hot water was not abundant.

We enjoyed our time in the hotel and the city. We asked the room service folks not to make the beds or collect the towels and they complied with our request. We also tipped them upon our leaving and left returnable bottles for the staff. The Front Desk folks split up the bill between two credit cards as requested. We were more than satisfied with the service. One drawback is the breakfast room. The layout of the food and the machines is a bit awkward. The waffle machine and the toaster machine created too much heat and the room is stifling at times. If a venting of that heat could be done the area would be more enjoyable too eating. Many folks took food back to their room or ate in the lobby because of the heat. The young lady who tended the breakfast food, etc was curious and did a splendid job under the circumstances. We have stayed in Super 8's before and they haven't been the cleanest and no breakfast. We were pleasantly at the motel, including clealiness, nice staff, wonderful breakfast, and a nice view. Very nice and would recommend.

Everybody we came into contact with was extremely friendly and very nice. The room was just awesome and bigger than expected. Very clean and we didn't hear other people at all. Just an outstanding location, everything within walking distance. The hotel itself was beautiful to look at also. We will definately stay at this same motel in the future.
