Hamilton Inn Select Beachfront, Mackinaw City, MI: "BEAUTIFUL VIEW" stayed June 2010 from LAPEER
MY FRIEND AND I HADN\'T BEEN TO MACINAW FOR 36 YEARS, (SHE\'S BEEN MANY TIMES SINCE THEN.) WE DECIDED TO GET AWAY FROM ALL THE PRESSURES OF HOME AND WORK. WHAT A BEAUTIFUL HOTEL, THE STAFF WERE VERY HELPFUL AND THE VIEW OF THE LAKE WAS JUST AWESOME. WE WERE PLEASED TO SEE THE FIREWORKS ON SATURDAY BEFORE MEMORIAL DAY. THE BEST OF ALL WE WERE ABLE TO SEE THEM OFF OF OUR BALCONY; WAS JUST SPLENDED!!! I WILL BE BACK, BECAUSE I WANT TO PARASAIL WHILE THERE AT THE SAME PLACE.

Hamilton Inn Select Beachfront, Mackinaw City, MI: "Awesome, Awesome, Awesome!" stayed February 2010 from Grand Rapids
We originally booked a night at the Super 8 Bridgeview. However, they called and canceled our reservation at 7am on the day we were to be in Mackinaw City. They arranged for us to stay at a hotel, that I feared would turn out to be a terrible, flea bag motel. I was wrong! Gorgeous views of the ice jamming against its self and jutting out of the water, friendly/helpful staff, and a killer breakfast made for an excellent stay here. WE WILL BE BACK!

Hamilton Inn Select Beachfront, Mackinaw City, MI: "Awesome stay" stayed October 2009 from Warren
What a nice place. The bed with the Tempur-Pedic was worth the stay alone. Very clean room with a great view. It was a stormy night when we stayed and that made staying in the room enjoying the jacuzzi even better.
Will stay here every time now.

Hamilton Inn Select Beachfront, Mackinaw City, MI: "Great Hotel" stayed August 2009 from Muskegon
I went with two friends and we originally planned on staying at one of the small and less expensive hotels on the island to help conserve money. When we saw the hotel...well, more like a cheap motel, that we were at we decided to seek other hotels that looked a bit cleaner and less like the Bates Motel from Psycho. Having stayed at the Hamilton Inn during a previous visit we went there straight away. There were only two rooms left and we got a suite with a jacuzzi tub, king size bed and fold out sofa bed. Although it was a lot more than we wanted to pay, it was worth it. The service was excellent, the complimentary breakfast was hot and delicious. We loved watching tv in the jacuzzi, visited the pool and hot tub every day and loved how close it was to downtown and all of the main activities. Also the free entry to the heated water park was pretty neat too! This place is definitely family friendly. We were right on the beach front and enjoyed watching the ferries come and go as well as swimming in the lake on the really hot days. The entire hotel was very clean and well maintained. The bed was a little stiff and the fold out sofa bed was quite 'springy' but that is the only real complaint I have. Overall this place is fabulous and worth the extra buck! I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone. Never again will I book a misleading hotel online. I know I can trust the Hamilton Inn :)
