Included basic breakfast is in the Hamilton lodge next door. Easy check in and polite service."

"Booked a 2-night stay for a trip with my sister. Enjoyed having morning coffee on the balcony overlooking the beach. Great location; we walked to the ferry. Rooms were clean. The thermostat and the feels-like temp in the room didnt match, but it wasnt really a problem. The hotel staff were great! Selena checked us in and answered questions for us, including giving us advice on dinner and traveling to the island. The other staff members we came across were also friendly and helpful. This was my first time staying at Beach and Bay, but I plan to stay again."

"The hotel is in a beautiful location, on the beach of lake Huron with wonderful views. Directly next to the pier for the island ferry. Not far from the downtown area, had to drive. The room was nice but dated. When we arrived the microwave and refridgerator were not working, called the front desk and they replaced both appliances. Good coffee!"

"This was our second visit to Blue Water and we absolutely love it. Trish at the front desk is amazing and so friendly and helpful. The only reason I gave an 8 rating was the lack of housekeeping. We were there 5 nights and never received clean towels (although I was able to get them from the front desk and they were very apologetic). We also never had our floors swept or beds made. I know we were put down for service at least twice by the front desk, so this was a total housekeeping fail. Other than that, we will definitely be back."

I enjoyed my room, it was clean.I would say I considered it a value stay for the price and no breakfast provided, I typically go out anyway Amenities were sufficient, it would be stellar if the hotel had its own hot tub on site along with improvements to the pool"

"The room was a little worn. The bed was a little firm for my taste. The bathroom and fixtures were very outdated. Lighting in the bathroom was awful. Updating the light would help, looked like a 70s throwback. The peeling wallpaper throughout the room was a turnoff. Also, we came during midge (little mosquito like bugs) season so we spent 30 minutes killing all of the ones in our room the first night. The floors were nice having been recently redone as well as the room furniture. The atmosphere was friendly and the location was perfect."

"My recent stay at BaySide Hotel was excellent. The front desk receptionists were professional, friendly, and welcoming from the moment we arrived. The hotel was very clean and had a great atmosphere, making our stay enjoyable and comfortable.The waterpark was well-maintained, and we appreciated that towels were readily available for all swimmers. One of the main reasons we enjoy staying at this hotel is the staff. Many of the employees are familiar faces, and they always make us feel at home during our visits.Because of the outstanding customer service, clean facilities, and welcoming environment, I highly recommend BaySide Hotel to my friends and family. "My kids and I had a phenomenal stay at Bayside Hotel of Mackinac this last weekend. The front desk lady was friendly, kind and so helpful with our questions and few needs. Our room was clean, our beds comfortable, the location perfect and my kids especially loved their time in the waterpark. We enjoyed exploring the city and nearby Wilderness State Park, and learning about the history of the Old Mackinac Point Lighthouse during the day(s). And topping it all off, the fireworks display (that we just had to go to the front of the hotel to see) was the perfect ending to our stay. Id rate it 100/10 if I could. We will definitely return for more Mackinaw City and Bayside Hotel fun!!"

This year we had the pleasure of meeting Marc the manager there. He was so pleasant and really made us feel welcomed. That being said the room was clean, very well stocked, and very spacious. The pool was close by and not busy. The hotel was quiet. We enjoyed our stay and will definitely stay again. If value and a solid place to stay are on your list this is the place. Beds appeared to be new. We had read some reviews about bugs and that was not a problem. There was absolutely no issue with our room at all. Everything was clean and functional."

There were a few noisy guests with a dog downstairs but we attempted to mask the noise using the in room fan. Overall we were pleased with our stay."

"The hotel was fine but the most extraordinary thing was the lady on the reception. She was a great human being and helped me and my family immensely, in every way she could. Unfortunately doesn\'t her name but wanted to give a very big shout out for something specifically that she did for us. The room that I booked in this hotel was having just a queen bed which was a mistake to book and which understandably couldn\'t accommodate all my family (five persons, two adults and 3 kids). When I went inside and noticed how small it was I went back to her and informed that I didn\'t realize that the room would be so small for which she replied that she herself was surprised why I chose such a small room. I explained that it was my mistake and I didn\'t pay too much attention while I was making reservation. That nice lady without asking me upgraded to a bigger room and made this whole experience so awesome. Thanks to her."

"Motel was fairly clean. Beds were decently comfortable. Bathroom was spotless which was a huge bonus. Only complaint was it was slightly musty which is to be expected as Im sure theyre shut down for a majority of the year due to winter. But overall it was pretty good. However, there is access to the 2 water parks in the town and I DO NOT recommend either one. Went to check out both and they are both not only dated but the water at both was cloudy and dingy looking. You could not see your feet if you were brave enough to go in the water. The emerald cove one said it had waterslides which it did but they were blocked off and the pool beneath them was empty and gross looking. Also the lazy river was also cloudy and yellowish brown looking. I wouldnt let my child in either one especially since I wouldnt venture into either one as well. Mind you, we stayed the first weekend in August so you should think that they would be up to date and busy."

"The Cabins are located within walking distance to shops and restaurants up and down the main thoroughfare. My friend and I chose one of the free-standing 2 bedroom/2 tv cabins as it provided privacy for both of us. The beds were comfortable and the bathroom was well stocked. We would definitely stay again!"
