The only issue I had was that we were given a key to our room and it was not ready... the poor lady cleaning it had just started so we had to sit and wait. The hotel was not close to being full so that had me wondering why but mistakes get made. Other than that the stay was great.These comments are from a verified stay

Best Western Plus Dockside Waterfront HotelBest Western Plus Dockside Waterfront John from Holland stayed in September 2017The motel has an excellent location, walking distance to shopping, restaurants, and the ferry to the island. Lakeview rooms are available. Our room was clean and had a small balcony overlooking the lake and the private beach. The receptionist we had was not friendly and appeared quite frustrated when I asked her to repeat her directions on how to get to our room and where to park. The room was very clean and the view was beautiful. We really appreciated the wonderful breakfast. It was a great way to start each day. Having the discounts for the boat rides and different places was very helpful. One thing. Having a bigger sign of where the elevator is would help. Also covered steps going up to the dining room would be nice. Felt someone could slip on the steps due to rain. However that is just a suggestion. Breakfast area also clean and well-stocked. Breakfast room is not large, so I’m guessing it’s crowded during the summer. Only one elevator shared by guests and housekeeping in a spread-out property. Room was clean and staff were attentive to clean the room during the day. Pool and hot tub were nice. Desk staff nice and helpful. Only minor thing I would change would be breakfast. It was good yet the types of hot food did not change in the 3 days we stayed there. It was sausage and biscuits, sausage patties and eggs. The room was clean and the pool was warm. The hot tub was hot! The pool could use a good scrubbing on the tile. Check in was smooth and easy. It is a bit of a walk to get breakfast or the pool and you have to go outside to get to both.
