Outstanding 2 room suite that was spotless and and professionally refreshed on stay over. Housekeeper Ann Marie was thorough, courteous and pleasant. Front desk was polite and professional. Nice grounds and overall appearance. The complimentary breakfast was more than adequate and the staff had fresh food continuously running out to the line. Tables and floors constantly kept clean. The location was perfect -within walking distance to restaurants and all the shops in Mackinaw City. The room was quite large with a balcony overlooking the lake. No fresh fruit at all, some items (sausage and sausage gravy) were cool to cold. The hotel and breakfast room were packed but only one person working throughout our stay. The gals at the front desk were more than helpful. They were kind and courteous. The lady who cleaned our room did a fantastic job! It was always fresh and ready to go. The breakfast was wonderful! A great selection to choose from. The gal that tended the area did a great job making sure it was stocked and cleaned. The pool was wonderful as well as the hot tub. The beach area was kept clean. Rooms very clean and everything in great working order. I would love to be able to have this kind of hotel on every trip I ever take. The breakfast buffet was a bit disappointment, can't complain since it is complimentary just seemed bland and mostly heat and eat precooked foods.
