The Super 8 Bridgeview is the only log cabin hotel in Mackinaw City. The Super 8 Bridgeview is conveniently located directly across from 1000 feet of Lake Huron Beach at the base of the Mackinac Bridge. Colonial Fort Michilimackinac and the Mackinac Lighthouse are within 500 feet of the hotel. Walk to the downtown area, enjoy a drink at the historical Dixie Saloon, and enjoy the free nightly laser light show. Shopping and Mackinac Island ferries are within walking distance. Enjoy access to indoor heated pool, the dry sauna, the whirlpool and the extensive game room and work out rooms.

Super 8 Bridgeview HotelSuper 8 Bridgeview Buckel from Millington stayed in May 2014Online registration was quick and easy, plus we could purchase discount tickets to many of the places we were planning to visit. This hotel is well maintained. Our room was clean and fresh smelling with a beautiful country décor. Flat screen TV, hairdryer, iron/board, toiletries, coffee maker, and fridge were included. Beds were firm and comfortable. Pool and hot tub were clean and refreshing. Noise levels were at a minimum throughout. Free continental breakfast consisted of make-your-own waffles, assorted cereals, oatmeal, fruit, bagels, hard boiled eggs, juices, milk, coffee. Hotel is located on a main street, yet far enough away from the hustle/bustle/noise of downtown. Walk across the street for an unforgettable view of the straits and Mackinac Bridge. A leisurely walk to shopping, dining, and ferry docks. I found this out by accident when I was checking on my reservations. I wondered if they would have notified me before I got there at 8 pm, or would I have been standing there at a closed up building. Room was clean and was made up while we were out the next morning.I told her that was my expectation but she said others she and her husband had been too(not in Michigan)never does!We didn't have much contact with staff but they seemed friendly enough.Breakfast offered waffles although since I can't have wheat products I didn't have any but other visitors were.I was surprised at the selection of items offered. The hot tub felt great after the 6 mile hike. The cost was very reasonable for this time of year. Service was excellent - front desk was polite; cleaning staff did a great job and even acknowledged the tip we left by leaving an intricately folded "towel swan" on the bed; staff at the continental breakfast was gracious and helpful and kept her calm demeanor through the rush of getting a tour bus fed in time for their deadline. We enjoyed the pool/hot tub & the hotel breakfast. The only suggestion I would have is that they should encourage their employees to smile. All the employees were nice, but very few were friendly or would even smile. We stayed there the 20th & the 28th of September. On the first stay we had an older gentleman that worked in the pool area that was friendly and on the second stay our cleaning lady was friendly, but other than that no one else smiled; not at check in, not at breakfast or passing in the hall. We did advise management. The shower handle was very loose and hard to adjust. The sink stopper did not hold water, but let the water seep out slowly. Please consider providing more storage and hooks in the bathrooms. Also, it was soooo hot in the breakfast room we coud not even stay in there to eat.
