Nice, Clean, Comfortable rooms, the waterpark was a blast. It was a great weekend get away. The staff were very friendly and the hotel was clean everywhere you went!! Definitely would stay there again

I gave a 5-star (outstanding) rating because we had a great time up north in Mackinaw City. The weather wasn't the greatest, but with the Bridge Vista Beach Hotel having the huge splash pad area for the kids, it made the time spent with the kids even better. They loved playing in the lazy river and going down all the water slides. We will definitely be back again to stay there. The room was nice and clean every day when we came back to the room, and the breakfast bar was outstanding. I will apologize ahead of time because I forgot her name, but she did an AMAZING job keeping everything filled and the room cleaned while the guests ate their breakfast. My hat is off to her and her professionalism. See you next year!!

The rooms were clean and fresh. The water park was clean and not over crowded. the staff was very helpful. However, we had a long drive to get to machinaw that day, we spent several hrs in the waterpark and was hoping to get to bed early and have a good night sleep, at 10-11:30pm all we hear was little feet running up and down the hall way (I cant believe how parents can be so rude and let their kids run and scream up and down the hallways. At 3am I heard screaming outside my door, I flew out of bed, my husband flew out of bed behind me, I open the door and come to find out it was a wedding party that was staying there and they were laughing really loud waiting for the elevator. Not to nice to get woken up at 3am. The breakfast was good, cant complain.. it was free. However, I think there should be more that 2 waffle makers as there was a line of people waiting and more people wanted waffles but didnt want to wait. All in all, I wanted to rate this really good, becasue we would go back, however we would have to have a different room away from a long hallway or an elevator. Dont let the noise of my review bother you if you are a sound sleeper....this hotel is clean and friendly. balcony to sit and look at the lake was a plus!

They upgraded us from a parking lot view to waterfront at no charge. The front desk ladies were very nice. Room clean. Breakfast lady made you feel welcomed. Beautiful view of the fireworks from their beach in October. Help with parking from hotel staff since there was a wedding taking place. Glad we choose this hotel.

The beach at this hotel was wonderful, not to mention the view was beautiful. The hotel staff was very friendly and accomadating. Mornings were wonderful with the breakfast room filled with good food.

Breakfast was very good. Beds were very comfortable. Room was very clean. As a retired couple we didn't realize the noise that would be created by children enjoying the water park but everything was fine when we went to sleep and our area was very quiet. Staff was very friendly. We recommend the Bridge Vista and would stay there again.

we had a great stay, rooms need a bit of attention but nothing that was of any great concern. Staff were friendly and we understand they are getting the hotel back up and running and that's not easy. We passed along pictures and notes to many friends stating we enjoyed our stay and will stay again, we are looking at coming back in February if not over Christmas time. Hotel uniforms would make the setting look more professional. Wishing you much success so we can enjoy future stays

Great rooms for a great price. The view from our balcony was absolutely BEAUTIFUL! My only complaints were that I never really saw the staff, the only encounter I ever had with them was at our check-in (Though they were pleasant and accommodating then).

Although the outside of the building looks new, the furniture in the rooms is scuffed up and they don't maintain the halls, etc. very well. EX: broken molding near the elevator, scuffed paper etc. The staff was very friendly and helpful and although we were too tired to use the waterpark, it looked nice and the chlorine smell wasn't too strong. The rooms were very clean but the beds were too hard to get a good night's sleep. We would stay there again though for the price, it was a good bargain.

Dear Mackinaw CVB, That is a great idea that you want traveler feedback from your member hotels. I have never seen a CVB do that before. We got a great rate at the Bridge Vista by booking an internet special through your website. The Bridge Vista itself was "Average," but the value was "Outstanding," so I met in the middle and gave them a "Good" rating through your rating system. I also posted a review of the Bridge Vista on TripAdvisor. I gave them a four circles out of five there. We enjoy Mackinaw, especially the Island. Our family would love to stay overnight on the Island sometime, but the rates are just way too high. Much better values in Mac City. Take care, Scott Z.

We took our three children (ages 2, 5 and 7) to Mackinaw City and stayed at this hotel. The kids had a blast. The water park had different sections which kept them all entertained. The buffet breakfast is what I expected. I had two complaints: bed was too hard and AC was too loud. But, even with the two complaints we will return to this hotel next year.

I was a little concerned when I read the reviews but it was very nice considering the price. Nice views of the bridge and a wonderful hot breakfast. We would definitely stay there again! It is not the most upscale place but definitely a good value.

The price was excellent ($69.00 a night for a beachfront room in a waterpark hotel in the summer), facilities clean, breakfast food plentiful and decent. We had a terrific time. The reasons I gave a "good" as opposed to excellent was that the staff does not seem very friendly (but then, we went to have fun as a family, not make friends with the staff!), and the rooms had empty spaces that would have been great to have a comfy chair for tv watching or reading. Also, we went looking for the little cocktail lounge that was advertised, only to learn that it hadn't been finished? We saw no signs of it anywhere. We would absolutely go back, as it was a perfect place to take kids; in fact, we have already talked about getting extended family to go next summer.

We were greeted with friendly and helpful staff who answered our questions about the areas we planned to visit. The rooms were clean and the waterpark for my grandchildren was a plus. They had alot of fun there. There was a good variety of breadfast foods to choose from in the morning also. We had a very pleasant stay at Bridge Vista Hotel.

We were happy. We wanted lake view, thought we would get balacony, but were placed on 3rd floor. We were happy with our selection. Weather was nice and the city was pretty. We had a great time.

For the most part, it was a good stay. The only concern we had was the pace of cleaning service; it was slow, with our room not being completed one day until 5 p.m. Otherwise, the staff was very friendly and the room was good.

The breakfast from 9:00 to 10:00 AM was a bit frustrating as the single staff person was working hard to keep up with the "rush". Guests always wait til the last hour to eat breakfast or sleep in. During that last hour, it would be good to have 2 people serving. I was impressed with how well the woman did to keep up with the demand but this is a management problem.

Our two kids loved the water park. It was a nice size and you could sit in the middle and still see your kids no matter where they were at. It was a little over crowded at times because they do allow guests from other hotels access to it. The room was clean, beds a little uncomfortable. Nice breakfast bar. Hardly enough parking though. We got back from town at 11 pm and got the last parking spot and we had to squeeze in between two other vehicles and all go out through the window. We appreciated that they allowed our small dog to be with us. They have a nice grassy area and beach area out back.

We loved our room and the staff. However, if you are getting your information about the hotel and what it has to offer from the full page ad in the tourism magazine, be forewarned that much of what it says about the hotel is not on site at the actual hotel. For example, there is no restaurant on site and no outdoor pool or large indoor pool. It is a great value for the price, and our son loved having a room on the beach. Plus, this hotel defintely has the best "water park" for older kids. It was a great place to stay with a child and we truly enjoyed it.

This is a good hotel for a family stay. The accommodations are what you would expect from a 2 star hotel; not luxurious, but clean. What makes this a good place to stay is the staff. They were very welcoming, accommodating, and friendly. The water park is was a huge hit with my kids and the waterfront location is fantastic. I would probably not choose this hotel if I was traveling alone on business, but it is a great place for a family vacation. Mackinaw City is one of the great family destinations in the Summer and I would definitely recommend this hotel for a family vacation.

I had resereved our room online, and for some reason, when going to print out confirmation, the computer shut down, before I even wrote down the confirmation #. Later when I called the property direct to confirm, they had our reservation, but did not have the room type we requested. Instead, they upgraded us to a larger room, at no extra charge and also included a rollaway at no extra charge for our 2nd child. They also were helpful with anything that we asked for. Kudos to the hotel and the staff. Great people. Great Job!

They need some updated carpet in the hallways. The hotel, however, was great. Front desk personnel were friendly and efficient. I must say "hats off" to Terry, the breakfast morning employee. She ran an efficient and very nice breakfast for the hotel guests. I would say she was exceptional at her job. Very friendly and personable.

Hotel Staff was very friendly and outgoing to make our stay good. Rooms were decent but not great and our balcony had trash from the prevoius occupants. Wi-Fi was fast if you could get on to it, but they ran out of IP's quickly and you'd have to call the staff to re-set the router; which they did quickly. Breakfast was hot, and pleantiful but not great, seating was limited due to the amount of guests eating at the same time. The view from the lake side rooms is absolutely spectacular. We didnt visit the indoor water park but it looked amazing.

I enjoyed my stay at Bridge Vista and thought it was a nice hotel. The room was clean and the breakfast was very nice and the pool area was awesome. However, the reason I did not give it an outstanding rating was because of the following: The full-sized beds were not that comfortable, and too cramped; queen size beds would be much better. The breakfast, while really nice, did not offer much variety for guests staying multiple nights. It was the exact same thing every morning. Some changes would have been nice, like switching up the meat; bacon or ham some mornings instead of sausage every morning; some fresh fruit instead of the same canned fruit every day; some different cereals instead of the same three. I will say that the lady who was stocking the breakfast area and cleaning up did a superb job; she was really on the ball and very helpful. While the pool area was awesome, it was too crowded. Allowing other hotels to use it was fine, but it would be nice if the hours were extended to 11:00, the last hour for hotel guests only. Finally, the lobby was very dark, and I felt not very inviting, as were the hallways. However, we were not in the room for much more than sleeping, so it suited our needs just fine.

We had one night we couldn't sleep because it was too noisy, the other night was fine. you can hear your neighbor above you....but it is the same at all hotels really. The pool/waterpark is great. Our kids really enjoyed it. The beach area was nice. you have get a good view of the bridge if you have a waterfront room. The room was probably the cleanest hotel room we ever had! We liked the larger size fridge in the room too.

Affordable rates, wonderful staff, beautiful location. Upon arrival, was upgrades to a lakefront room with an awesome view. Staff treated my two year old daughter like a princess for the duration of our stay. Great breakfast. Have already recommended this hotel to several friends. Hope to stay again later this summer.
