The Super 8 Bridgeview is the only log cabin hotel in Mackinaw City. The Super 8 Bridgeview is conveniently located directly across from 1000 feet of Lake Huron Beach at the base of the Mackinac Bridge. Colonial Fort Michilimackinac and the Mackinac Lighthouse are within 500 feet of the hotel. Walk to the downtown area, enjoy a drink at the historical Dixie Saloon, and enjoy the free nightly laser light show. Shopping and Mackinac Island ferries are within walking distance. I did not give them outstanding because their Breakfast could use a little change & a MUCH BIGGER room is needed to serve it in. Maybe put some tables in the lobby or find another room to use. Hotel didn't have the room ready till 3 pm. Said they would call when if it was ready earlier. Never called. (Nice touch!) The desk clerk, Carlene, couldn't have been more personable. She always had a smile on her face and was always willing to find out info for us. The furniture and building was beautiful, very cozy and rustic feeling. The location was perfect and close to the water and the town. The convenience of the continental breakfast was perfect.
