The Super 8 Bridgeview is the only log cabin hotel in Mackinaw City. The Super 8 Bridgeview is conveniently located directly across from 1000 feet of Lake Huron Beach at the base of the Mackinac Bridge. Colonial Fort Michilimackinac and the Mackinac Lighthouse are within 500 feet of the hotel. Walk to the downtown area, enjoy a drink at the historical Dixie Saloon, and enjoy the free nightly laser light show. Shopping and Mackinac Island ferries are within walking distance. 10 out of 10We had a great time in mackinaw city. we arrived about a week too soon though. the tourist season hadn't gotten going yet. on a positive note, it gave me and my beautiful bride of 1yr, a chance to spend some quality time together. no kids, no grandkids and no hustle and bustle! thanks again for a great time! we'll see you again in july! sincerely, greg yoderThese comments are from a verified stay

They were closed for the season, and I was rebooked at the Hamilton Inn Select. The Hamilton Inn Select was OUTSTANDING! They gave me the same price as the Super 8 would have been, but this hotel was much nicer. The rooms were more plush, and the breakfast had more choices and better quality. Actually more because we had requested a courtside room (to help save a few dollars to be honest)but we got a bridgeview room with a great view every time we looked out the window. The people at the front desk were extremely helpful and friendly, they answered all of our questions, and even answered some we didn't think to ask. The front desk lady was super nice. My room was beautiful and very big. One thing I would change for my next visit would be NOT getting a room right next to the stairwell. I heard people (the drunk 20 somethings) go up & down the stairs all night long. Overall I thought it was a very nice place. I told my parents about how nice my stay was and I will definitely return.
