The Beach House Overview
The Beach House is a family owned and operated resort run with pride and integrity. We are the last stand of cottages on the water in Mackinaw City. We are 1 mile east of downtown. There are sidewalks and a bike trail to get to town.
Seven cottages sit directly on the beachfront the others back up in a U shape from the beach. Everyone staying at the Beach House has access to our private beach. The Beach House is pet friendly (small pet fee) with 2 animals maximum. All hotel rooms in Michigan are non smoking. Smoking is permitted outdoors.

Steps from the beach, our little ones would wake up and play on the beach from sunrise to sunset! Martin and his team are friendly and accommodating. 10 out of 10Cabin 27 was perfect! there are a few things that I might recommend just to make things a little bit easier, the sleeping area closest to the closet , and on the same wall as the bathroom, maybe add a small shelf. 10 out of 10The manager was extremely helpful since I had reserved a cabin that would not have accommodated 3 people (although I had there was 3 of us in the booking app). The location was awesome. There were grills available to use as well as items in the office if you didn't want to eat out the whole time. We used the pool and hot tub as well as sat on the beach. 10 out of 10We've been coming here for over 30 years and happy with the upgrades as they add comfort without losing the original charm. Very comfortable beds, love the knotty pine and the modern TV. So glad the property is being maintained and improved instead of torn down and replaced with just another hotel.
