The Beach House Overview
The Beach House is a family owned and operated resort run with pride and integrity. We are the last stand of cottages on the water in Mackinaw City. We are 1 mile east of downtown. There are sidewalks and a bike trail to get to town.
Seven cottages sit directly on the beachfront the others back up in a U shape from the beach. Everyone staying at the Beach House has access to our private beach. The Beach House is pet friendly (small pet fee) with 2 animals maximum. All hotel rooms in Michigan are non smoking. Smoking is permitted outdoors.

8 out of 10My husband and I booked a cottage for a 3-night stay and when we arrived, the host said he would like to upgrade us to a bigger cabin since we were staying a few days, which we whole heartedly agreed to. The location was perfect, with it being more away from the main center of activity, but a short drive or long walk to the sites in Mackinaw City. We started our mornings on the beach with plenty of seating provided, and I spent an afternoon in the pool and hot tub area. The hot tub was older, but still provided great jet flows. Bring your own hair dryer if you need one, as that is not provided in the cabin. Everything else we needed was there. Everyone was friendly and the cabin was spotless. I loved how clean everything was. Great place for a couple or a family to spend a few days in beautiful northern Michigan!These comments are from a verified stay

It was really great to be able to utilize the neighboring waterpark as well as the pool right next to the office. The owner was absolutely fantastic! He was extremely nice and willing to help make our vacation fabulous at every turn. The hot tub was out of order which was disappointing but over all our stay was great. The only improvement would be an outlet by the bed an the screen door to not have a gap in the frame. The beach is very peaceful an firepit was a welcome part of the stay. The wooden picnic table was very tippy when we sat down like the table top was gonna fip over.
